The Oberalp Group, which owns Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca, Wild Country, and Evolv, hired industry veteran Brian Anthony and his independent sales agency Anthm Industries to represent Salewa in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.)
Anthony has worked for Salomon, Keen and Houdini across brand and sales. He founded Anthm Industries, based in Portland, in 2023, looking to “specialize in brands with a deep understanding of their environmental and social impact.”
“Like many Oregon transplants, my roots are on the East Coast. Through the college years, I fine-tuned my skills at the tuning bench in multiple resorts and ski shops while also honing my strong desire to move out West,” Anthony said. “Shortly after graduation, I moved to Portland and took my first grown-up job. Once the Outdoor Industry got its hooks in me, it dropped a handful more pins on my map – Boulder, SoCal, Portland, France, and eventually Portland once again. I spent 20 years building product for athletes. Transitioning to sales allowed me to bring that deep product understanding to my customers in a way that was grounded in hands-on experience and in my personal passions for ski touring, bikepacking, trail running, and exploring our public lands. That’s what it’s all about, after all!”
“Brian brings with him a complete understanding of how brands develop and merchandise their assortments, how they go to market and overachieve within their distribution,” offered Loren Morshead, director of sales & marketing, Oberalp North America. “Anthm is a great fit for the Salewa brand and the Oberalp Group in the Pacific Northwest.”
