RYU Apparel Inc., which makes apparel for fitness,
training and performance,  has named Treya Klassen Vice President of Product and Brand.

Klassen joins RYU Apparel after 21 years at Polartec, where she most recently served as Sales Director for Canada and the Pacific Northwest. She was responsible for all sales in the territory and building new product placements for many of the top brands in the industry. Her customer base included Lululemon, Eddie Bauer, Arcteryx, Sitka, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Costco USA and Canada, MEC, and The Department of National Defense. She was the former Director and President of AnK Apparel Manufacturer, one of the leading technical apparel manufacturers in Canada and Asia.

In demonstrating her confidence in the potential of RYU Apparel, Klassen's family recently invested CA$100,000 in the private placement that closed on April 16.

With over 28 years' experience in the apparel industry, Klassen will be leading the Product, Design, Branding, and Sales division at RYU. She has established a team of the country's top designers, product engineers, and developers to create and deliver the newest, most innovative apparel, bags, and accessory platforms in the market.
