RYU Apparel Inc., a creator of urban athlete apparel, introduced its Up-Down program, designed to encourage all athletes to achieve their fitness goals via flexible exchanges for different sized clothing.
Officially launched January 1, 2017, Up-Down allows any customer whose size changes, either by adding muscle or losing weight, within one year of purchasing a RYU clothing item to return that piece to RYU or donate it to charity for a replaced item in a new size at 50 percent off.
“The program not only motivates customers to start their goals but also helps to ensure they can maintain a fashionable and functional workout wardrobe,” said a representative for the company.
Canadian customers are being asked to return items to one of RYU’s two stores.
“We know athletes work incredibly hard day in and day out to achieve their personal fitness goals,” said Marcello Leone, CEO, president and chairman of the board, RYU. “As we are immersed in the fitness community, we are thrilled to do our part in supporting them in any way we can.”
