RYKÄ and Lady Foot Locker today presented a joint donation of $10,000 to the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer
Crusade.
For every pair of select RYKÄ shoe styles purchased through Lady Foot Locker in the past five months, RYKÄ and Lady Foot Locker donated $2 to the Avon Foundation. RYKÄ was also one of three national sponsors supporting the Avon
Walk for Breast Cancer, which was held in eight cities in its inaugural year.
“In addition to RYKÄ's corporate sponsorship of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, we are pleased to team with Lady Foot Locker on this donation to underscore our
dedication to women?s health and fitness,” said RYKÄ President Mary Taylor.
At each Avon Walk site, RYKÄ hosted a fun Feet First tent in the Wellness Village. The Feet First tent featured the “Wall of a Thousand Feet,” a photo montage of participants? feet after the walk. Every picture represents the average 45,000 steps it took each participant to complete the walk toward a cure
for breast cancer.

also for embracing the breast cancer cause—the more awareness that the disease receives, the closer we get to finding effective preventative treatments and a
