Tucker Hacking, president and CEO of Ground llc, announced late Tuesday the appointment of Ryan Clark as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ryan will be responsible for the development and implementation of brand initiatives while over seeing the sales operations. He will oversee the sales and marketing plans both nationally and internationally. Ryan will be working from the Emeryville, CA and Ohio offices, reporting directly to Hacking.

Tied to the announcement Hacking said, “our team is looking forward to the skill set and experience Ryan brings to the table. The brand is young but growing explosively and the timing is perfect for the addition. Ryan will be able to handle the reigns driving our business forward.”

Ryan comes to Ground from the independent sales representative and marketing consulting end. His resume boasts time spent with some of the nation's largest retailers and manufacturers. Prior to accepting this role Ryan handled national account sales for several key brands. Not only does he have extensive experience on the large format retail side but he has also started and owned a multi-door specialty retail store.

When asked about the state of business and the tasks at hand Clark said, “our industry is on the verge of a big turn around.
