The RV Industry Association (RVIA) reports that its March 2025 survey of manufacturers found total RV shipments amounted to 37,348 units for the month, an increase of 15.8 percent compared to the 32,243 units shipped in March 2024. In the first quarter (YTD), RV shipments were up 13.9 percent year-over-year, with 97,848 units.

“Heading into the summer selling season, RV shipments are up nearly 14 percent in the first quarter, and our research shows an estimated 72 million Americans planning RV trips this year,” said RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby. “While we’re keeping a close eye on consumer confidence and potential tariff effects, one thing remains clear: even in times of economic uncertainty, Americans turn to travel and the outdoors. The RV lifestyle has enduring appeal offering freedom, flexibility, and memorable adventures on the open road.”

Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month up 17.1 percent versus March 2024 with 33,982 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 4.4 percent compared to March last year with 3,366 units.
Park Model RVs finished March up 6.7 percent compared to March last year, with 366 wholesale shipments.
