Russell Athletic, a division of
Russell Brands, LLC, and the official uniform and apparel sponsor of the Semper
Fidelis All-American Bowl, unveiled the on-field apparel to be worn at
the Jan. 3 game between the East and West all-star squads.  The game will be held at Chase Field in
Phoenix and will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network, with kickoff at
4 p.m. MST.

The state-of-the-art uniforms will feature new Russell
Athletic 100 percent compression and heat dissipation technology to provide
increased breathability as well as maximum comfort and performance for
athletes. These innovative jerseys also
include sublimation design technology on the sleeve, allowing for fully customizable
logo design. The official Semper Fidelis Bowl uniforms will feature a unique
sublimated logo of the United States Marine Corps, the result of design
collaboration between Junior Rank, the United States Marine Corps and Russell
Brands. 

Russell is also providing the official performance uniform
for all 300 athletes participating in The Proving Ground National Combine Jan.
2.   Each player will be outfitted in the
latest gear from Russell’s sublimated performance line, including a sleeveless
compression top designed specifically for the event.  Custom United States Marine Corps logos will
also appear on the jersey, which comes in four different design cuts and
features the Russell Athletic Dri-Power moisture wicking fabric. The tops will
be available to the public in the fall of 2012.

Additionally, Spalding, a division of Russell Brands, will
provide the official game ball of the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.  The Spalding TF-SB1 Spiral Balance football
utilizes technology designed to give the ball a tighter and more accurate
spiral without altering the ball's weight and feel.  The ball also features lighter colored
leather for increased visibility and Diamond Cross Weave (DCW) laces for an
enhanced grip.  The ball is National
Federation of High School Associations-approved, and, along with game day
replica jerseys and other Russell-produced souvenirs, will be available for
sale at the game and on the bowl game website.
