Russell Corporation (RML) has sold the SOUTHERN ATHLETIC trademark and related assets The L&L Group, which has licensed the brand since May 2002. The L&L Group, privately held and formed in 1948, owns Foremost Athletic, L&L Concession Co, Reach Athletic, and Union Jacks Soccer.
Southern Athletic will manufacture a complete line of
Baseball/Softball uniforms for 2004 in addition to its current basketball and volleyball uniform categories.
