The Russell Athletic Everyday Performance Tour will hit the road this August, showcasing Russell Athletic history, teams current on-field uniforms and sideline apparel through the years. Sports fans will have the opportunity to win prizes and view changes in sportswear, from the earliest woven uniforms to the most exciting new products in the market.

Russell Athletic recently renewed a five-year contract with Little League and will be in Williamsport, Pennsylvania from August 18 through 27 to display Little League history items. Russell Athletic’s presence in Williamsport for the 60th Little League World Series is the first stop on the mobile marketing tour that will then move through college campuses and retail stores across the Southeast.

The college tour will kickoff during the football season opener between Georgia Tech and Notre Dame, on September 2. Georgia Tech is a Russell Athletic-sponsored athletic program and is based in Atlanta, Georgia, the hometown of Russell’s headquarters. Celebrating the heritage of football in the South, the tour will visit Russell Athletic-sponsored campuses on football game days and set up in fan zones and tailgate areas during some of the biggest games of the season. During the week, the vehicle will make stops at Russell Athletic retailers, team dealers and local high schools.

Several of the tour’s stops are at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Russell Athletic sponsors all 49 HBCU schools by outfitting up to 500 men and women’s athletic teams. Sports include football, basketball, tennis, bowling and track and field.

The Russell Athletic Everyday Performance Tour will conclude in November at the Bayou Classic in New Orleans. Other stops are rivalry matchups in Columbia, S.C.; Dallas, TX; Starkville, MS and Fayetteville, N.C.
