Russell Athletic was awarded the “Apparel Vendor of the Year” from Modell's, the nation's oldest family-owned sporting goods retailer. This is the second consecutive year Russell Athletic has received this award.
Each year, Modell's hosts a Vendor Appreciation Day and invites their top 65 vendors out of 1,000 to an all-day outing and awards banquet. Russell Athletic is among the top-7 vendors to receive an award. Criteria for an award includes quality, service, sales and profit margins, among others.

Both Modell's and Russell Athletic have similar athletic heritages with over 200 years of combined experience.
