Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has named Ben Quinn as vice president of strategy and business development. He will be “instrumental in shaping Ruger’s strategic direction, identifying and advancing growth initiatives, and driving critical business outcomes,” the company said in a media release.
Quinn will also serve as a key advisor to the executive team and play a central role in “supporting cross-functional collaboration, enhancing operational efficiency and aligning enterprise-wide objectives, strengthening the company’s market position, advance high-impact initiatives, and support Ruger’s long-term success for customers, employees, and shareholders alike.”
Quinn reportedly brings a wealth of experience to Ruger from high-impact roles at United Airlines, Strategy& (PwC’s global strategy consulting business), and, most recently, as director of strategic initiatives at Dometic Corporation. His background includes “leading business model transformations, identifying growth opportunities and working closely with senior leadership teams to design strategic roadmaps and execute key initiatives,” Ruger continued.
“I’m excited to welcome Ben to the Ruger team,” said Ruger President and CEO Todd Seyfert. “His strategic insight and leadership will be key as we focus on growth, operational alignment and delivering long-term value.”
Quinn’s hire “reflects Ruger’s continued investment in its leadership team under Seyfert’s tenure as president & CEO.” He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
