Royal Robbins has hired Clifford Associate as sales agency for the Royal Robbins brand in Florida and the Caribbean, concentrating on untraditional, as well as traditional, retail channels. Clifford Associates, based in Pompano Beach, Florida and serving the Southeast, has served the outdoor industry since 1980 and currently represents a varied list of outdoor brands including Giro, SuperFeet, YakTrax, Smith Optical, Flow and Clif Bar.
“We are taking a slightly different approach with this new sales group. With the heavy concentration of corporate headquarters, resorts and theme parks located in Florida, we see new retail opportunities for Royal Robbins products. Clifford Associates will be calling on these channels, as well as on some traditional outdoor apparel retailers where we currently are not tasking our sales force,” said Dave Nacke, Sales Manager of Royal Robbins. “This area presents a tremendous growth opportunity for us, and we have heard nothing but great things about Clifford Associates from retailers in this territory.
