Now that L.A.M.B. has become a must-have brand in apparel and accessories, L.A.M.B. footwear is on its way. Launching in Fall 2005, the new collection is part of a long term licensing partnership between L.A.M.B. and Royal Elastics.

The same “Made with Love” philosophy and attention to detail that are the signature of L.A.M.B.’s apparel collection will carry through in this Sneaker Collection. L.A.M.B. apparel and accessories were launched in Fall 2003 by Grammy winning musician, actress and style icon, Gwen Stefani. Drawing on her eclectic personal style and natural elegance, L.A.M.B. is inspired by all aspects of Stefani’s life. The brand is defined by Stefani’s innate style, which often features a playful juxtaposition between feminine and masculine. Bold and original graphics are often incorporated into L.A.M.B. creations. “L.A.M.B. represents all things that I love. It’s very much about my style and how I like to put things together. L.A.M.B. is something that I want to wear everyday, and I’m really excited to be adding a collection of L.A.M.B. sneakers to my closet,” explains Stefani, who was named “Most Fashion-Forward Artist” by Vogue Magazine.

L.A.M.B., an acronym for Love Angel Music Baby, is also the name Gwen called her childhood dog and a term of endearment that she uses for her closest friends. The creation of L.A.M.B. is a natural progression for the musician, who has designed her own clothing her entire life and specifically created much of her tour wardrobe for No Doubt over the past 16 years. “When I was in college and had a show coming up on the weekend, all I thought about was what to wear. I have always been obsessed with making clothes, and I love putting costumes together for a show, ” says Gwen.


As Creative Director of L.A.M.B., Gwen Stefani oversees every stitch and intricate detail of each garment and ensures they are “Made with Love.” “L.A.M.B. is very detail oriented. Everything matters. Everything counts. I wouldn’t stand behind it unless it was perfect,” states Stefani. The sneaker collection features classic silhouettes with unique treatments. Inspired mainly by her own closet, the collection incorporates Gwen’s number one influence, music. Favorite song lyrics like “I want you all over me like L.A.M.B.” “Where did my lamb go?” and “Rolling in cashmere, got it in fifth gear, baby” can be found throughout the collection.

In stores this Fall, the L.A.M.B. Sneaker Collection will be available at high-end boutiques and better department stores, with retail prices ranging from $99- $180.
