The Rossignol Group, which includes Dynastar, Lange, Look and Rossignol brands, has partnered with Recycle Utah in an effort to recycle more snowsports equipment across the state.

The Rossignol Group, with offices in Park City and distribution in Ogden, Utah, is helping fund this project while supporting Recycle Utah with the collection, storage and transport of old snowports equipment that would otherwise be sent to a landfill.

Almost 6,000lbs of snowsports equipment was recently collected and moved to the Group’s Utah-based distribution facilities, where it will be held until it can be shipped to SIA’s recycling facilities in Colorado.

“Thanks to the Rossignol Group for taking in and storing the materials until they can be shipped, as well as providing the funds to enable us to take in this material and purchase the gaylords and supersacks for storage and shipments,” said Insa Riepen, Executive Director, Recycle Utah. “That’s a lot of garbage to keep out of the Summit County Landfill.”
