Rollerblade honored Dane Stephenson of Leading Edge Sports in the Pacific Northwest and Rick Gignac of Gignac Sales in Michigan for 25 years of service to the brand. The two were honored last weekend at the Rollerblade summer sales meeting in Vail, CO.
Both Stephenson and Gignac started with Rollerblade in 1986, just six years after the company was founded.
“The recent increased consumer interest in inline skating is the perfect backdrop for honoring Dane and Rick,” noted Stephen Charrier, president of Rollerblade USA. “Through a variety of market conditions, they bring passion and fresh enthusiasm to our product innovations, every sales cycle and year after year.”
Rollerblade currently has 10 sales reps that have been with the company more than a decade.
Additionally, Mike Benshoff of Benshoff & Associates was awarded the 2011 Sales Rep of the Year award at the sales meeting. Benshoff’s strong sales performance contributed to Rollerblade’s success last year despite a tight economy.
