Rocky Shoes & Boots, which now also owns the Gates Gloves business, said they expect third quarter earnings to increase approximately 22% to $50 million, while EPS are expected to meet analysts consensus estimate of 95 cents per diluted share, or a 23% increase versus the year-ago period.
RCKY reported net sales of $41 million and fully diluted earnings of 77 cents per share for the same period last year.
Chairman and CEO Mike Brooks said that factories in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic were impacted by multiple hurricanes during the latter of the quarter, resulting in loss of power for several days, but no severe structural damage.
