Road Runner will open its newest store Friday in Bellevue, WA.

The 5,000-square-foot store will feature Shoe Dog, a thorough and interactive foot analysis process. Through the dynamic, touch-screen video program Shoe Dog eliminates the guess work and helps customers find that ever-elusive, perfect-fitting running or walking shoe.

“This is the most advanced shoe-fitting program out there. The Shoe Dog process makes it incredibly easy and fun to find your perfect-fitting shoe,” said Mike Gotfredson, owner of Road Runner Sports. “Nobody else has a process that comes close to being as fun or powerful in creating a 'WOW' experience for runners and walkers.”

Based in San Diego, California, Road Runner Sports was established in 1983 as a catalog company in owner Mike Gotfredson's garage. Despite such modest beginnings, Road Runner Sports has become the world's largest running and walking store today, employing over 600 employees across the U.S.
