Rip Curl hired surf lifestyle industry veteran Kiki Prince as general manager for North America, effective February 12.
“I’m very excited to welcome Kiki Prince to the Rip Curl team,” said Brooke Farris, CEO of Rip Curl, in a company release. “Kiki is a well-respected leader whose extensive experience and vision for the brand make her the perfect fit to lead our North American operations. Rip Curl is poised for future growth, and Kiki is the right person to lead our crew, brand, and business with a hyper-focus on Wholesale.”
Farris, a surf industry icon, said this past year was an opportunity for her to invest more time in North America, get to know everyone across the brand’s key accounts and connect with the people in the industry.
“I’ll continue to remain close to the business and look forward to partnering with Kiki to take things to the next level for North America,” said Farris.
Prince joins Rip Curl from Roxy and other Boardriders brands where she has worked for nearly 18 years. Most recently, she was the SVP of sales, apparel and footwear at Roxy. Before that, she worked at Reebok for over 13 years.
“I’m honored to join Rip Curl at this pivotal moment for the brand in North America,” said Prince “The surf industry holds a special place in my heart, and I’m committed to furthering Rip Curl’s legacy. Together with the incredible crew in North America, we will continue to innovate and grow the brand.”
