Revel Bikes, which was reacquired by its Founder, Adam Miller, last month, has named Mike Giese, the original designer behind the brand’s first bikes, as both director of product development and creative director.
Giese worked at Revel Bikes during the brand’s formative years, from 2016 to 2018, helping to develop the Rail, Rascal and Ranger models.

“Mike’s the real deal,” said Miller. “He’s got this rare combo of incredible engineering talent, insane bike handling skills and an eye for design that’s unmatched. It’s wildly awesome to get to work with him again.”

Miller added, “Mike was a big part of why Revel clicked right from the start. Getting to build the next chapter together is something we’re all really stoked about.”

Giese said, “I am beyond excited for this next chapter with Revel Bikes. After working with Adam and the team to design the original Rail, Rascal and Ranger, I am looking forward to joining the Revel Bikes team to lead product strategy, design and development for the next generation of bikes, and for the next generation of the brand.”

Revel, headquartered in Carbondale, CO, recently transitioned to a direct-to-consumer model while also offering custom builds through local bike shop dealers via a frame-only program.
