Stefan Reschke is taking on the newly created position of ispo International Exhibition Director within the ispo Group and will thus be responsible for ispo Russia too as well as ispo china.
Stefan Reschke M.B.A. has been a member of the ispo team since 2001. He commenced his activities by initiating the ispocard project, constantly extending this customer loyalty programme of ispo. In 2002, he wrote his dissertation on the modalities and optimisation potential of ispos visitor registration. A three-month “retailer tour” took him to Asia in 2003 in the course of the preparations for ispo china. In 2004, he took over the exhibition management of ispo china; and as Asia Pacific leader, he has been responsible for all activities of the ispo Group in that region since 2005.
“By concentrating ispos international events, we are in a position to make better use of the experience and know-how we have acquired and to put this into effect in further strategic development as well as in the organisation and the marketing activities. Over and above that, communication with and for our customers is made easier from one source, we can now plan several events and create package solutions more easily”, says Tobias Gröber, Head of ispo Group. Stefan Reschke has set himself the special objectives of extending the visitor activities and strategic partnerships and of promoting the further consolidation and growth of the two events abroad.
In Stefan Reschkes new, separate unit for the international projects of the ispo Group, the event organisers are also looking for an exhibition director for ispo china and ispo Russia. Mick Wallace, the present exhibition director of ispo Russia and community manager of board_ispo, is moving to industry and takes up the post of marketing manager for Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe at Quiksilver & Roxy for 1 October 2006.
His duties as community manager of board_ispo are being taken over by David Badalec. This 25-year-old an enthusiastic snowboarder and surfer has been a member of the ispo team since October 2004. As part of his activities, he has looked after projects like Glass & Resin, the kite initiative TradeWind, board_ispo seedbed, the awards and the trainee project as well as various photo shootings and preprint productions and he has supported Mick Wallace in all of ispos board sport activities.
