Puma, marking the company’s return to performance basketball this year, has signed top NBA draft prospect Marvin Bagley III to a five-year endorsement deal, according to reports.

News of an imminent contract was first reported by The Athletic and was confirmed by other media outlets.

The contract is expected to be the largest rookie shoe deal since Kevin Durant signed a seven-year, $60 million contract and accepted a $12 million signing bonus with Nike in 2007.

Bagley is set to become the first NBA player to sign with Puma since Vince Carter in 1998.

Puma will reportedly also look to sign additional rookies in the 2018 draft.
