Adidas is in advanced negotiations to become the kit sponsor for Arsenal. The Premier League squad’s contract with Puma is due to expire at the end of next season

The Daily Mail report that Adidas are leading the way in negotiations, with a deal worth over £40 million ($57 mm) per season being discussed. Puma’s deal calls for £30 million per year.

Puma began its deal for the 2014-15 season, and has the right to outbid a competing offer.

Manchester United lead the way with their Adidas deal, worth £75 million annually, with Chelsea not far behind.
