The Baltimore Sun reported that Under Armour is preparing to move from its Tide Point headquarters into a new global headquarters in November at Baltimore Peninsula, formerly Port Covington.

The five-story building is nearing completion and running about two months ahead of schedule.

About 1,500 employees are expected to work at the new headquarters, which will span 280,000 square feet and include four floors dedicated to office space.

The space will also include a two-story, 30,000-square-foot Under Armour Brand House store and a two-story, 30,000-square-foot fitness performance center. The store is expected to open by late October or early November 2024.

“It’s a very significant investment for us, in our teammates, our community, and our enterprise,” Kathy Blessington, Under Armour’s vice president of real estate, told The Baltimore Sun. “Being a Baltimore-based and founded company, we take a lot of pride in what we’re doing here.”
