PPR is close to selling the profitable US division of Redcats, the owner of The Sportman's Guide and The Golf Warehouse.
The french conglomerate indicated it was looking to divest the business last year to focus on its luxury brands as well as sports brands such as Puma and Volcom.
Redcats USA also owns a stable of plus-size clothing catalogs and websites called OneStopPlus. It also includes baseballsavings.com and softballsavings.com.
