The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that Bass Pro is exploring opening a store near the Green Bay Packer's legendary stadium.
The paper says, “though no deal has been signed, documents show Bergstrom has been in negotiations with Springfield, Mo.-based Bass Pro Shops, known for its large stores that sell outdoor gear.”
The proposed 21-acre site is at the southeast corner of Highway 41 and Lombardi Ave., in Ashwaubenon.
Bass Pro at one point considered a site in Menomonee Falls before dropping that idea over a year ago.
