REI Co-op plans to host a grand opening for its new store in Elk Grove, CA, from July 25 to 27.
The Elk Grove store is situated within the Sacramento metropolitan area of Northern California, located at Laguna Gateway with a footprint of 22,127 square feet.
“We look forward to being part of the fabric of the outdoor community in and around Elk Grove, and helping everyone have an active lifestyle,” said store manager Rich Fox. “No matter your level of expertise or how you’re looking to get outside, our staff of friendly experts are excited to help you get ready for your next adventure.”
REI reports that there are 22,200 members in the Elk Grove area and nearly 574,000 members in the Sacramento region. With the opening of REI Elk Grove, 12 stores will serve REI members and outdoor enthusiasts in Northern California. REI Chico opened last month. REI Sacramento is over 12 miles away from REI Elk Grove.
