REI is testing the sale of used gear online, according to a report in Gear Junkie.
The company is beta-testing a microsite called “Used Gear,” that sells select and inspected used gear and clothing at a discount. The items will be sold online.
REI said on the microsite, “We’re trying this out as a way to help more people get outdoors while keeping useful stuff out of the landfills.”
