Recreational Equipment, Inc. have elected Brenda Davis, Anne Farrell, John Hamlin and José Ignacio Lozano to the co-ops board April 19.

 

Davis, of Bozeman, MT, was elected to a three-year term following two one-year appointed terms. A life-long conservationist and outdoor enthusiast, she also serves on the board for the World Wildlife Foundation. She retired in 2007 from Johnson & Johnson, where she served as corporate compliance officer and advised the pharmaceutical companys board on public policy.

 

Farrell, whos based out of Seattle, WA, was elected to her fourth term on the board. She is a former director for Washington Mutual and president emeritus for The Seattle Foundation, the citys most influential philanthropic organization.

 

Hamlin, of Austin, TX, was elected to his second term. He is currently the president and managing partner of Bozeman Limited Partnership, a private equity firm. He is a former executive of Dell Computer, where he directed global online commerce and brand management.

 

Lozano of Manhattan Beach, CA was elected to a three-year term after his initial appointment in 2008 to a one-year term. He currently is the principal of his familys private investment company and vice chairman of impreMedia, the nations largest publisher of Spanish-language print and online news media. He currently serves on the board of directors for PBS.

 

The board of directors re-elected Farrell as chair and elected John Hamlin as vice chair.
