REI has appointed José Ignacio Lozano to a one-year term to the companys board of directors.
As an REI member since 1994, Lozano resides in Manhattan Beach, Calif., and is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys backpacking, skiing, mountain biking, surfing and sailing. He currently serves as the vice chairman and founding executive vice president of impreMedia, LLC, the leading publisher of Spanish language print and online news media in the country. He is also a private investor who is active in lending his business expertise to a variety of start-up companies.
