Regatta Brands has hired Bill Lockwood as national sales director for Craghoppers World Travel Clothing and Dare 2b technical mountain apparel, effective immediately.


 


Lockwood, shown to the right, will manage all national sales reps and focus on increasing distribution for both brands in North America, helping to develop strong brand loyalty and bolstering each brand's in-store presence. He will also manage seasonal key account business plans and business development and leverage the new relationship between Craghoppers and National Geographic at retail.


 


Lockwood has held key leadership positions in the outdoor industry, most recently at American Rec, where he helped grow brands through multiple channels.

Lockwood said his experience ties in well with where the brands are headed.
