Reebok has terminated its contract with Jon Jones, who on Tuesday was
stripped of his 205-pound UFC light heavyweight title following his
arrest for leaving the scene of an accident
involving personal injury in Albuquerque, NM.

According to a statement sent to MMAJunkie.com, Reebok said, “in light of recent events, we’ve
made the decision to terminate our contract with Jon Jones, effective
immediately.”

Jones allegedly was involved in a three-car accident Sunday morning. Police say Jones ran a red light and hit a car driven by a
pregnant woman before fleeing the scene. Police confirmed she suffered a fractured arm and wrist. Jones turned himself in on Monday and was
released on a $2,500 bond.

Jones recently starred in a commercial for a new line of Reebok ZPump Fusion shoes.

Ronda Rousey, Anthony Pettis, Conor McGregor and Paige VanZant are a few other UFC stars sponsored by Reebok.
