Trek has voluntarily recalled the Electra Navigator Go! and Electra Ace of Spades Go! ebikes in cooperation with the Consumer Products Safety Commission because specific bolts attaching the rear fender to the bikes do not contain a threadlocker and could loosen during shipping or while riding. If the bolts loosen and fall out, the fender could rotate under the rear wheel, and the rider could lose control of the bike and fall.

The recall involves the Electra Navigator Go! (2021 and 2022) Electra Ace of Spades Go! (2021 and 2022) and Electra Ace of Spades Go! (2018). If consumers are unsure whether their bike is affected by this recall, they are advised to contact a local Trek or Electra retailer.

Consumers who purchased the equipment should not ride the affected bicycle until inspected by an authorized Trek or Electra retailer for inspection and repair. Trek will provide an authorized retailer rear fender replacement bolts with threadlocker at no cost to the consumer. Trek will also give consumers a $10 U.S. in-store credit for use toward any Electra, Trek or Bontrager merchandise, good through December 31, 2025, that has no cash value.

Consumers can contact Trek, Electra retailers or Trek Customer Care at 800.373.4594 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT or at trekbikes.com for additional information.
