Thule recalled its Camber 2 bike (model #905800), Camber 4 bike, (model #905600) and Range 4 bike, (model #905700), in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Health Canada in an affected manufacturing date code range.

Thule determined that a weld on the arm assembly could crack and fail when the bike carriers are in use, posing a risk of detachment if the safety strap or locking cable is not used, causing a vehicle crash or injury to pedestrians. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bikes and contact Thule to arrange for the return of the bike carrier assembly and register for a refund or a replacement free of charge.

Affected bikes include:

  • Thule Camber 2 Bike (model #905800), date code: 4.14.22 through 6.23.22;
  • Thule Range 4 Bike (model #905600), date code: 5.02.22 through 7.26.22; and
  • Thule Camber 4 bike (model #905600), date code: 3.31.22 through 6.23.22.

Consumers can go here to arrange a free return of the bike arm assembly and register for a replacement bike mast assembly. For all inquiries, call Thule customer service at 888.290.1266.
