Recall: Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Hiking Boots

Salewa has recalled its men’s and women’s Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX Hiking Boots manufactured before April 2022. 

It is possible that the lace hook on the inside of one boot could catch on a loose cable on the inside of the other boot, posing tripping and/or fall hazards and risk of injury. Dealers should stop selling the recalled boots, and consumers should stop wearing them.

Dealers and consumers are asked to return the recalled boots to Salewa for replacement with the Fall 2022 AT2 Boots or comparable Salewa product.

Less than 12,725 pairs were sold in the U.S .and Canada; this number includes the Recalled AT2 Boots and AT2 Boots not subject to the recall.

Salewa is in the process of identifying how many of the 12,725 pairs of boots are Recalled AT2 Boots.
