Sears Canada Inc. issued a voluntary product recall for Nevada toddlers and girls moccasins in black, yellow and tan colors after discovering the moccasins contain a high concentration of lead. Neither Health Canada nor Sears Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries relating to the use of this product.

The moccasins were sold at Sears Canada retail stores and online at www.sears.ca, between January 2014 and July 2014. The Sears regular selling price was $24.99.

Sears Canada urged customers who have the affected moccasin to stop children from wearing them and to return the shoes to their nearest Sears department store. Sears will issue a full refund to customers who can present a receipt or Sears Card statement, or refund the lowest selling price to  those without a receipt.
