FGL Sports of Canada is voluntarily issuing a targeted consumer recall of the Pulse LTD 2009 hybrid bicycle due to a manufacturing defect.
The recall is being initiated by the vendor, Louis Garneau Sports Inc., as a precautionary measure due to a manufacturing defect in the fork of the bike that could lead to a breakage of the fork crown.
This bike was made available to consumers in 2009 through our Sports Experts, Intersport and Atmosphere stores.
There have been no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Customers are being asked to discontinue using the recalled bike and return it to the store at which it was originally purchased for a free of charge replacement fork installation.
