GSI Outdoors Inc. of Spokane, Wash. is recalling about 6,700 kid’s insulated water bottles sold exclusively by L.L.Bean.
They are being recalled because the lead solder at the exterior base of the bottle contains high levels of lead.
The recall involves five styles of kids’ insulated water bottles with printed graphics by GSI Outdoors that were imported from China and have a 13.5-ounce capacity. The following color prints are being recalled: Dino Bones, Flower Power, Orange Grid Camo, Purple Tie-Dye Butterfly and Robo Shark.
Consumers have been instructed to stop using the bottles immediately and contact L.L.Bean for a full refund.
The bottles were sold by retailers for $20 between July 2015 and May 2016.
