Briscoe Group Limited reported that Rebel Sport sales increased 6.1% to NZ$23.7 million ($16.5 mm) for the fiscal third quarter ended October 31. Rebel Sport comp store sales increased 3.8% versus last year.
Total BGL sales were NZ$73.2 million ($51.1 mm), a 2.1% increase from the NZ$71.6 million ($47.7 mm) reported for Q3 last year. On a same-store basis, the groups sales for the quarter were off 1.9% from Q3 last year.
Rebel Sports has 20 stores, with BGL expecting to add a Rebel Sport store in Gisborne.
