Rawlings Sporting Goods Company Inc, the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball(R) and the number one brand in baseball gloves, is proud to announce the 2004 Rawlings Gold Glove Award(R) American League(R) winners.
The greatest measure of fielding excellence since 1957, the prestigious Rawlings Gold Glove Award(R) is presented annually to eighteen players, one for each position, in both the National and American Leagues. Managers and coaches may not select players from their own club and only vote for players in their own league. Today's American League winners were announced exclusively on ESPNews' Hotlist at 5pm EST. Tomorrow Rawlings will announce the National League winners also on the ESPNews Hotlist at 5pm EST.
