Racketpro, a training and education for coaches and professionals in the world of racket sports, appointed Dan Santorum as CEO. He was formerly president of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
During his 40-year tenure as president of the PTR, Santorum has seen membership increase “from an organization of 2,500 members in 68 countries to one with more than 16,500 members in 125 countries.”
Santorum represented the PTR at industry events and conferences and has conducted “over 400 PTR workshops on six continents in 46 countries and 225 cities.” In 1999, he became the first person to conduct courses for tennis teachers in all 50 US states.
While at the PTR, Santorum also founded The Pickleball Registry (TPR), the largest organization of pickleball coaches.
“I am honored to join Racketpro and lead this incredible organization,” said Santorum. “Together with amazing leaders like Collin Johns, who is already elevating the prominence and standards of the sport, I can’t wait to welcome back the tens of thousands of coaches I’ve had the honor of knowing and serving as we continue to build a legacy of innovation and education in the world of racket sports.”
Santorum’s appointment aligns with Racketpro’s mission to “empower and inspire coaches, tournament directors, facility operators, and business professionals through top-tier education and comprehensive member benefits.”
