Owner and President Matt Gower made the decision to move to Boulder based on his commitment to grow the Rab brand in the North American market. The company has been selling into U.S. specialty outdoor stores for the past year. Boulder offers a relevant outdoor-lifestyle location for Rab, close proximity to Denver International Airport and a great pool of outdoor enthusiast to recruit and hire. The company plans on hiring five new employees to staff its Boulder office, and hopes to be up and running by Dec. 1, 2008.

“Rab is very excited to be moving into the Boulder community,” said Gower. “We think Boulder is a great area to further establish our authentic outdoor business, while exploring the outdoors in one of the best towns in North America.”

In January of 2007 Rab started to make a push in the North American market. Currently there are 43 retail outlets in North America. The company plans on expanding its presence in the United States over the next few years by introducing new products and opening up to new retail partners.
