Scott USA has secured the services of Ptarmigan Associates, Inc as sales representatives for SCOTT bicycles in the Colorado and New Mexico territories. Veteran sales representatives John Gerritsen, Daren Alspaugh and Katrina Prill have turned down multiple bike lines in the past but could not resist the call from SCOTT USA. Daren Alspaugh has been tracking the overseas success and the leading edge carbon technologies that Scott now brings to the States. John Gerritsen said, “I have worked with Scott Montgomery in the past and I believe he will quickly guide SCOTT USA into a top brand position here in the U.S. We believe the SCOTT USA product line to be formidable to the homogenous domestic product story of the rather tired titanium and mixed materials high-end competition.”
Scott Montgomery stated, “I continue to be impressed and pleased to see that we can add such veteran sales staff for our 2005 product launch. John was one of our strongest territory managers at my previous company, and I know that John, Daren, and Katrina, with over 31 years of combined industry experience, can steer us to the top retailers in the ever important Rockies territory.” Montgomery will be traveling to the front range with John, Daren and Katrina in the next week to meet with key specialty retailers.
