Performance Sports Group Ltd., the parent of Bauer and Maverik Lacrosse, and Cocona Natural Technologies, maker of patented 37.5 technology, have announced an exclusive partnership in several sport categories. This provides Performance Sports Group exclusive use of the advanced fast-drying moisture management technology in hockey, lacrosse, baseball and softball, and non-exclusive use in soccer.

Apparel with 37.5 technology dries up to five times faster than competitive products. While other fabrics simply wick moisture around the garment, trapping humidity near the athlete’s skin, 37.5 technology harnesses the athletes body heat to evaporate moisture and move it away from the skin. Much of the advanced fabric developed with 37.5 technology is made in Taiwan with the companys certified Taiwanese mill partners, including Raco Textile, Chia Her, Evertex, Kingwhale, Men-Chuen, and New Wide Taipei.

The feedback and endorsement this technology has received from our athletes is simply phenomenal, said Kathy McGown, General Manager of Apparel for Performance Sports Group. We are extremely excited to continue our partnership and look forward to bringing 37.5 technology to several products across our portfolio of industry-leading brands.

We couldnt deliver 37.5 technology to our customers without the support and expertise of our mills here in Taiwan, said CEO Jeff Bowman. Taking yarn with 37.5 technology and making that into high-performance fabric is a very demanding and technical process. Were proud to be partnering with some of the best mills in the world, many of those in Taiwan..
