Primary Arms Government has hired Alexander Forney as regional sales manager for the Central United States. With over a decade of experience in client relationship development, Forney brings a strong track record in increasing sales performance and brand presence.
In his most recent role as government account manager for Sellmark Corporation, Forney led initiatives to develop new business opportunities across law enforcement and military agencies nationwide. He also “performed impactful product presentations for hundreds of departments and agencies, helping to drive greater product adoption and awareness.”
Before that, Forney served as director of Sales at Elliot White Gun Co., where he developed “metric-driven strategies to improve market penetration and customer retention.” His background also includes experience in the shooting sports retail sector with DFW Shooting Sports, where he “developed strong relationships with firearms consumers, professionals and industry stakeholders.”
In his new position, Forney will oversee Primary Arms Government sales operations in Central Texas and 16 additional states in the central U.S. with his Central Territory Inside Sales team partner. He will work closely with agencies to deliver support and provide access to tactical gear and firearms solutions.
“Alex joins us at a pivotal time as we expand our commitment to government clients. As our central territory continues to expand, we are confident that Alex’s extensive expertise will be crucial,” said Özge Cumberland, chief revenue officer at Primary Arms. “His strategic insights will significantly strengthen our reach and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional support to our growing base of public safety partners.”
