Wilson Sporting Goods Co., announced today that Josh Jacobs, running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, has joined its Wilson Advisory Staff.
As a Wilson Advisory Staff member, Jacobs will provide insights and test future Wilson football products as well as work with the brand on efforts to support community initiatives off the field.
In Jacobs’ two seasons in the National Football League (NFL), the former Alabama star and first-round draft pick has become a prolific back for the Raiders rushing a total of 1,981 yards becoming the new franchise leader in rushing yards through his first two seasons.
Beyond his athletic abilities, Jacobs is passionate about growing the game at all levels of play, especially at the youth level. In his role as a Wilson Advisory Staff athlete, Jacobs will collaborate with the brand to create limited-edition Wilson NFL footballs and gear for kids and 7-on-7 football.

Josh joins Wilson’s Advisory Staff program that was established nearly 90 years ago and is comprised of more than 10,000 professional athletes, coaches, teaching pros, and advisors across a wide variety of sports around the world.
