UGG, a division of Deckers Brands, released its Classic Mini Regenerate boot for adults and kids, made with materials sourced from Atkins Ranch.

By 2025, UGG has said it will have helped to restore one million acres of grassland into regenerative farmland. In year one, the brand established a long-term grant with Land to Market to support regenerative farming practices on sheep farms in Australia, influencing “over 200,000 acres and 40 farms.” Throughout this five-year commitment, UGG hopes to leave a legacy of transformation on the Australian sheepskin industry as the brand helps the farms work regeneratively.
The Classic Mini Regenerate uses Land to Market-certified sheepskin sourced from farms that practice regenerative agriculture. The boot’s SugarSole outsole is made from fast-growing sugarcane with the same cushioning and traction as the brand’s signature Treadlite by UGG outsole—lightweight and durable—that delivers cushioning and traction. The low-impact materials, combined with offsets purchased for the small remaining emissions they create, make the Classic Mini Regenerate carbon-neutral.
Debuting for AW22, UGG will contribute twenty acres of grassland to regenerative farmland by donating $6 per pair from the total purchase of each Classic Mini Regenerate sold in UGG retail stores and on UGG.com to the Savory Institute. From October 13 through Dec. 31, 2022, an overall maximum donation of $50,000 will go toward Savory Institute’s mission to facilitate large-scale regeneration of the world’s grasslands and people’s livelihoods through holistic management.
