Los Angeles, CA, March 31, 2020 — Thousand, creators of classically-designed and innovative bicycle helmets, announced today its launch of Courier Care. The initiative is a helmet donation program dedicated to keeping essential services bike courier and bike delivery personnel safe as they respond to the COVID-19 crisis when delivering food and supplies in urban areas hardest hit by the global pandemic.
Called to action by the global fight against COVID-19, Thousand quickly designed and implemented Courier Care as an extension of their values-led mission to keep cyclists safe and empower community connection. The Courier Care program will offer one of the brand’s signature Heritage Helmets to any US-based bike courier or bike delivery personnel that contacts the brand through the program.
