The blog of Saucony athlete James Williams, James Runs Far, has been nominated in the Best Professional Running Blog category by The Running Awards.

The aim of the blog is to give useful information to help other runners achieve their goals, which includes training, kit and nutrition advice, interviews with other inspirational runners and reviews of James’ races and challenges. This year, Williams a multiple ultra-marathon race winner attempted to break the Land’s End to John o’Groats world record by running more than 800 miles in nine days.

Though he didn’t make this target, he still successfully raised more than £5,000 for the Hope for Children charity in the process and inspired many runners to make the most of their early morning commute.

James is aiming to attempt the challenge again and will be wearing his Saucony Kinvara’s, the shoes he has worn for the last 10 years when he does.
