Santa Barbara, CA, May, 14 2020 –  Surf’s Up Bath Co. and The Little Bath Co. – the pure, gentle, and eco-friendly personal care and bath brands – announced today the launch of their new FDA compliant, alcohol-based hand sanitizer to be available online and in stores beginning today.

In conjunction with the launch, 1,000 bottles of hand sanitizer will be donated to the local non-profit One805 in an effort to support COVID-19 relief. Through their partnership, hand sanitizer will be distributed to first responders and frontline providers serving high-risk roles throughout Santa Barbara County.

“We are thrilled to bring this product to market at a time when it is needed most and give back to those protecting our community,” said Brooke Hansen, Director with Surf’s Up Bath Co. “The support of local purchases has allowed us and our entire community to pay it forward. We look forward to future partnerships of this kind as we ramp up manufacturing.”

Director Brooke Hansen formed Surf’s Up Bath Co. in collaboration with one of the most progressive production labs in California that shares their commitment to using eco-friendly and renewable resources. For over 25 years, Hansen has manufactured premium personal care products, distributing them to salons and luxury hotels worldwide, and is well-positioned to guide production during this critical time of increased demand.

Each hand sanitizer contains 67% Ethyl Alcohol, meeting the CDC’s guidelines for alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and is infused with soothing and moisturizing Aloe Vera and Jojoba Esters to further protect and nourish the skin barrier. Available in travel size and 8 oz. bottles, the product features easy dispensing disc caps and is packaged with California inspired-labeling, reflecting its local roots.
