Point3, the apparel manufacturer, and the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers announced a three-year partnership to outfit all Cavalier Youth Programs.
“We’re thrilled about this new partnership with Point3,” said Scott MacDonald, senior director, Youth Development, Cleveland Cavaliers. “Their experience working with junior NBA and youth programs across the country made this choice an easy one for us. We’re excited to see our Cavs Youth Basketball participants repping the Cavs new brand identity on these innovative Point3 uniforms.”
The announcement comes following the Cavaliers having refreshed its brand identity this summer, which will be featured on all youth program uniforms during the upcoming 2022/23 junior Cavalier season.
“For almost two decades, the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers have been committed to inspiring future generations to grow the game of basketball. Their mission is to motivate the youth of Ohio and beyond to be active, make championship choices on and off the court and build confidence in their athletic abilities. Each year over 15,000 youth basketball players throughout Ohio and beyond participate in Cavaliers Youth Basketball Programs including Junior Cavs, Cavs Academy camps & clinics and Cavs Elite Tournaments, making the Cavs one of the most prolific youth basketball participation programs in the NBA,” said Point6.
“The Cleveland Cavaliers and everyone affiliated with their youth programs match our passion and commitment to putting a quality product on the court,” said Point3 Founder & CEO Michael Luscher. “It’s no wonder enrollment in Jr. Cavs programs is at an all-time high and among the top of all NBA programs nationwide.”
